Are You Empowered?

Educational Power begets Economic Power which begets Political Power

It is this belief in a power larger than myself and other than myself which allows me to venture into the unknown and even the unknowable.

Defying the Odds “History” Made in North Carolina Again!

On May 8, 2018, five women won their respective districts as the Nominee for U.S. Congress of which three are African American. Now is the time to rally around each Nominee to ensure their election to the U.S. House of Representatives. These women have set the tone to help Democrats regain the majority control of the Congressional seats in North Carolina.

The African American Caucus of the Wake County Democratic Party will continue to engage black communities across the State to ensure the election of leaders that will respect and fight for our issues.

North Carolina continues to be an electoral battleground. It is time for new leadership in North Carolina’s U.S. House of Representatives.
